How long does it take for an exoskeleton to harden?

My L. parahybana moult last night, then later the next day (evening) I tried giving her a cricket, and she refused. I am guessing this is because her exoskeleton or fangs weren't quite hard enough yet.

Does anyone know exactly how long (if there is an exact time) it takes for a T's exoskeleton to harden after a molt?

How big is the spider? That's kind of important. ;)

Unless your parahybana is microscopic, 24 hours is not enough. A spiderling should be given around a week, and anything bigger may need several weeks.

My avics are all molting these days, and they seem to harden up fairly quickly.
They kinda stretch themselves out for about a day after the molt, Id swear it was death throws . . .
I had one that was good enough to eat 2 days after molting.

These are small Ts tho, less than 1-1.5".

Id say to wait longer than that to feed them tho.
Good things come to those who wait . . . ;)

Wait about a week to feed your Ts after molting. Juvies and slings you can feed a little sooner because they seem too recover faster.
