How long can a tarantula survive in transit?

I saw a case a while back that was right at 1 month in transit and the tarantulas were still alive.

I got first instar slings of Cyriocosmus (so they were suuuper tiny) last week and they were in transit 5 days (at about 15°C). All were fine.

I recieved 4 gbb slings. They were posted monday last week and arrived in good condition today, monday. 3/4 ate within the first couple of hours. One roof dweller..
