lots of people have asked this question. try searching for it, there'll be more in depth answers than this:

well, what size? that's one question we really need to know.

small spider: 3 to 7 days (7 to be safe)
big spider: 2-ish weeks (takes longer to harden)

and people will say that they've fed theirs a lot sooner. to each his/her own, i just like to be totally sure before i do something i'll regret
