How large should the enclosure be for a slightly over 1 inch aphonopelma eutylenum sling? She is temporarily set up in a over a foot long tub(which I know is too big), but has been eating and doing well in there. Is it ok to keep her in there or should i rehouse her to a small er container, such as this 3 inch wide jar that I have? Any advice is greatly appreciated since this is my first sling.

A 5-oz solo cup.

Or a pint deli cup.

they really don't need much room at this stage.

If it's eating and doing well, you could leave it where it is. Conserving space would be the only reason to downsize.

32 oz deli cup or something of similar size. Makes it easier for the tarantula to find its food and water, because there is less ground to cover.
