My collection is anything but "monster" but I third the faunarium recommendation.

I really like the flat ones for med non burrowing Ts because you don't have to half fill them with substrate to protect the T from falls, they have a nice big top door, and the dark colour is very uniform. Also they store nice and easy (as do the KKs).

Otherwise I use various KKs for everyone big enough to have their own water dish and something almost exactly like this, but with smaller holes for my slings.

Mine has shrunk to top-of-entertainment-center status.:( I DID have a whole room, similar to Syndicate, but not as organized!:p I like the shoebox size Kritter Keepers as they stack nicely and almost lock together. I also have those really nice wide mouth jars that I find at $1 stores everywhere. My goal is to be as neat, clean and organized as Syndicate.... ahhh someday!:worship:

The gallon jars work very well for most arboreal species as long as the adults aren't to big like 8" or greater. It also makes breeding time easy as all I do is move the females jar into a large rubbermaid/sterilite plastic bin, unscrew her lid then release the male in the container and let them do there thing. They can cohab together for aslong as I like and with multible bins I could even have a few species together at once.
I use 3 sizes of plastic jars over here the one gallon,1/2 gallon and 1 quart jars for juveniles.
Unfortunetly walmart and superior enterprise stopped selling these 1 gallon jars.Anyone know of any good sources for them still? Some of the wide mouth pretzel jars work awesome and are very big to!You could make some very nice setups with those and at the same time save alot of $$ and space ;]

Here are some pictures of my room.

It has been renovated a bit since these pictures were takin.
I do have a couple of other walls that I didn't get pictures of. I have a few glass cages for some of the bigger T's, but other than that I mostly use KK's. You can find them pretty cheap at expos, or shows. That's where I get most of mine. I also use deli cups, and pill vials for smaller T's. Also I use these plastic drawers on wheels for some of my pill vials. I find you can store quite a bit in these. Those vials are not displayed but it does save you some room.

I really like the superior enterprises site you guys pointed out thanks. I think that's where I'll get the terrestrial and smaller arboreals' tubs. As for bigger arboreals, well I went to a few places in search of wide-mouth round 1 gallon jars...I did find some rubbermaid 1-gallon jars at wal-mart but they were the kind with the handle made into the back and look kinda funky unless viewed from the front. I may end up using these for the arboreals; unless of course somebody can point me in the direction of round 1 gallon jars!!! Thanks again for the replies and pics, it's really cool seeing everybody's setups. Keep em coming!

Where in the world did you find those white pill bottles? I can't seem to find those anywhere. I've been using small display boxes from craft stores but they become annoying when I move them and the top just slides right off. Then it's like "uh oh...where'd the sling go".

I house my larger ones in shoe type plastic boxes my slings are in portion cups and vials. I keep my p. regalis juveniles in 1 gallon clear plastic jars.
I want to add more tarantulas to my collection lol its very addicting and I can't get enough of them.

I have played around with a lot of different enclosures over the years, but i am planning on using nothing but lock and lock containers eventually. They are extremely well designed and work nicely. Stackable, secure, pleasing to the eye and come in a variety of sizes. But most of all, they are cheap!

This site -

Shows some of the sizes that they come in. Some are very tall and very much ideal for burrowing or arboreal species.

For my smaller slings, however, i will keep putting those in vials of various sizes.

Cheers,
Nate

Hi
I got most of mine from a store that sells lab equiptment. I'm pretty sure there are some online stores that sell them a s well. You could also ask some of the online T dealers, they may be able to get you some.
