How do you photograph your arboreal t's?

I have seen lots of fantastic pics of lots of t's. I'd like to say that I have a few good ones of my own. One thing I haven't come to master is how to photograph an arboreal. They are always in a vertical position therefore making it difficult to get the right light. I know a few guys on here that take amazing pictures and would love their input. I want to show off my pokies without getting my arm taken off, or shooting through the glass. All the ideas would be greatly appreciated. And if you want to help out with lighting ideas, I won't complain.

I usually take shots in the morning to take advantage of natural sunlight.

I take the enclosures out into my backyard, one at a time and open the lid ( I keep Poecilotheria in 5 gal. tanks, standing on end with acrylic sliding lids). I rarely shoot through glass and my pokies dont enter their hides unless i've taken quite a few shots already.
