I recently purchased a Pamphobeteus nigricolor “Blue Bloom Birdeater” and would like to move it to a slightly large home than its deli cup; it's going in a 1 quart container. I can't find any specific information as to where they come from so I can figure out its preferences. How do the rest of you keep yours? Are they arboreal or terrestrial? I'm assuming they are from a tropical rainforrest but that is just an assumption at this point. I'm wondering... deep substrate to burrow in, just a little flower pot cave or lots of stuff to climb and web on.

These spiders like to hide. I provide a half flower pot, which does the job well.
They are terrestrial btw.

Make sure the humidity is high with good ventilation. Also are very big eaters, feed mine at least 3 times a week.

They grow like weeds, too and only get prettier as they get larger. Mine has molted twice in the last couple of months and seems to double in size everytime I turn around.
