How do you care for a Hogna Carolinensis?

Hello, I had been looking into this wolf spider and couldn't find too much info,
Where do you even purchase this spider? And how do you care for it?

They pop up online every so often. Try to search for an upcoming local reptile expo near you. Keep in mind that a majority will be wild caught.

You can use a bin from Walmart to keep them in, if you are looking for an affordable housing option. A good option is a 6 quart Sterilite bin. Drill some air holes along the sides of the enclosure. Then, add a few inches of substrate.

I keep them mostly dry, with one side of the enclosure on the damper side; preferably near the water dish. Lightly mist one side of the enclosure once or twice per week.

Provide a hide, and you should be golden.
