How do you care for a baby tarantula?

I you want to get a tarantula that is not agressive and wont live that long, i agree with everyone and get an avic. :razz:

Yeah, but don't they need like complicated amounts of humitity and stuff?

I've heard conflicting reports on this. On one hand, the slings do appear to NEED high humidity, and are prone to dying unexpectedly. On the other hand, I've heard adults are relatively easily to maintain so long as you regularly mist their webbing and provide a water dish.

OP,just so you know,an adult male spider is just going to wander his enclosure searching for a mate until he dies.
Sounds like the male of every other species on earth.
I don't see the problem.

The problem is,they pretty much suck for a pet once matured.
Indeed. It's also the humane thing and being a good hobbyist to try finding him a date once he reaches this point.

Even if he doesn't mate and just gets eaten, at least he got to live the dream. :)
