House Centipede Care ... Difficult or Easy?

I'm currently attempting to acquire some house centipedes (they're so hard to find, dang it!).

Anyway, I was doing some reading through old posts on arachnoboards and as of a few years ago, at least, people were saying it was difficult to keep them alive and get them to eat. But I was under the impression they were pretty easy to care for... just keep 'em humid and feed small live prey.

Does anyone else have experience with Scutigera coleoptrata? Are they difficult or pretty straight forward to care for?

Thanks all!

I currently have one in my care that I caught in my house. I don't usually see it eat but yes small prey is good for them don't leave it in with them plus they run away from prey when full. And yes keep them humid but not wet they are relatively easy to maintain. They won't burrow so that's a plus. They are territorial so they should be kept in separate containers. The soil depth needs to be not too deep maybe an inch or so. And They need a place to hide as well. They also need a water dish just the basics. Then it is up to you if you want live or fake plants they won't mind either way but they do hang upside down to molt so they will need something to molt online a stick or something. I've had mine for a year now but they live for 7 years if kept properly I have mine in a 5.5-gallon tank as well with a sliding lid.

They can easily drown in a deep water dish, make sure to provide the shallow kind.

They dry out very easily. Other than that pretty straight forward. Kinda like keeping a soil centipede
