I have my eye on a Hottentotta Hottentotta female for sale listed under the common name 'Congo Scorpion.'
All I could find on them is that they are very venomous (which I respect) and parthenogenetic so I should expect some babies too.
However, what is their lifespan? Max size? I've read conflicting things. I have other desert species but these come from savannah's, so should I keep them a bit more humid and if so should I use a blend mix for substrate instead of straight sand?
Im guessing if (or when) it has babies, when they become independent/juveniles can they be housed communally until they put on some size?
