My fabulous girlfriend ordered me a Homalonychus "Sand Assassin" spider. Got it a couple of days ago. Did my research on it and I have the enclosure environment done right I think- arid sandy with some spots to hide. Initial observations are these spiders are lightning quick and climb with ease. Mine has spent most of its time hanging vertical on the sides of the enclosure. Any shared experiences tips or info would be appreciated as a there does not seem to be a lot of information on them.

Fun species to keep! Keep them dry and feed every week or two. I ended up keeping mine in a 32 oz deli cup because she would rarely, if ever, use her hide on the ground and just hung out on a slanted piece of bark. I kept mine on dry cocofiber, but I think sand will work just fine too. Super hardy and very rewarding :)
