Yes I did that last week when I posted this thread unfortunately when I got off work today my little H.mac died he was fine yesterday so I’m not to sure what made him curl up. I then rehoused my other h.mac same enclosure type just better substrate nothing fancy just a vertical cork bark water dish. I was thinking that the charcoal pieces did something to it since it was curled up on top of it when I added spring tails to try and aid my enclosure clean up

Honestly I suspect it may have been due to poor ventilation and stuffy conditions. I have tried using these enclosures in the past and had issues with stagnant air and mold. I'm sorry for your loss .

I see what you’re saying….even tho they have those slots on the side for cross ventilation. Meaning it’s not enough ? Plus I notice there’s slight openings as well in the corners. I figured that would help. I got those as temporary enclosures till they got bigger. So you’re saying I should replace them ?
