Heterometrus species

Hi guys has anyone got any info on just how agressive the heterometrus species is compared to other species..im more interested in the spinifer really as ive heard they pack a bit more wack than a emperor and im just curious how they rank in the scorpion world with regards to manners and sting

H spinifer would be a 1. But H spinifer would sting more frequent than an emp.

so i assume the sting is no worse than a emperor..although i imagine still quite painfull

Yeah, sting isn't actually any worse than the emp, but they are more aggressive and more willing to sting.

it hurts about 10-15 times worse in my experience (3 emp stings, 1 H.spinifer sting) and it hurts for longer, and made my thumb swell up to x3 ,

also they use their sting more often

ok guys the tank is nearly ready...although im unsure wether or not the 12watt heat mat will do the job as required..ill post some pictures up tonight and see what you guys think as its arriving on thursday
