Don't get a hygrometer, and even if you do, don't trust it. They're garbage, and will cause to you chase numbers that will be incorrect. They're the most useless piece of equipment you can own.

I’m going to leave him for another day or two just to be on the safe side however a nice resting place is ready for him to be preserved and I know this is only my first time keeping scorpions but I see a much wider family of animals to come!

if you get a heat mat put it on the side of the enclosure not underneath and plenty of substrate for the scorpion to burrow. They also like a water bowl that they can soak themselves in (will help keep humidity up) if you decide to get another Asian Forest Scorpion/Emperor. Hides can be buried in the substrate (at least halfway). They also don't need to eat every day, once a week is fine.

As for that scorpion, you'd know it was ready to molt because it will look very fat and its plates will be separated. They prefer to molt hidden away if possible, like in their burrow/hide (where the humidity levels are higher).

RIP toothless😫 but I will be back stronger and more knowledgable I plan to completely re do the vocation waiting for the new ones !
