Hey there, I’m new here and to keeping tarantulas. My fire leg I received yesterday hasn’t been moving around a lot and I noticed that its abdomen seems to have a small split towards the back of it(almost like a crack)! It doesn’t seem to be leaking or bleeding but was wondering if it was anything I should worry about or if it’s possible that it can heal? Please let me know what you guys think/if I’m freaking out for no reason. Thanks in advance! Here’s a few pics as well sorry if it’s hard to see what I think is the damage.

It's in heavy pre-molt.....it looks like the old exoskeleton has cracked a bit....just be patient and wait for a molt....not much else you can do.

Will molt soon- don't ask when, no one knows, normal. Suggest you read up on T husbandry here if you haven't, this is a VERY VERY common question, like T 101

Could we see the result of the enclosure? If it was trauma from a fall or abrasion that would be something that might warrant improvement while carefully working around the tarantula
