howdy yall :3 had a question regarding my enclosure here.
is the substrate too low for burrowing? i underestimated how much clay/sand i would need for his enclosure, and this is all i had, so i just wanted to know if i needed to get more for the time being. i want him to be comfortable.
one half is fully clay and the other is a mix of creature soil/ calcium sand / and clay. i didnt really WANT to use calcium sand but the play sand was sold out at our lowes 😔 im guessing due to the hurricane.
also please let me know if theres something else i could change for the better! im a brand new scorpion dad 👍
thank you!

Hadrurus arizonensus aka Desert Hairy Scorpion like to burrow.
4 inches or more of substrate is commonly recommended.

It would make do , but a couple more inches would be appreciated. They are obligate burrowers.
