So I just got a new Arizona bark scorpion.. I put her in her enclosure, alone, because she was so large, larger than my other Arizona bark scorpions. I came home from work the next day, and she is covered in babies.. I can't find much information on the topic.. I know they will stay on the mother's back until their first molt and then they will climb down.. I am under the impression I will then need to remove them and and put them in their own enclosure away from other larger scorpions.. .. other than that I have no idea what to do.. I've kept a cricket in with the mother, to try and make sure she doesn't get hungry and eat the babies.. ( she's left in alone so far) .. once they come off her back and I move them out of the tank I have no idea what to feed them.. it's very hard to find Pinhead crickets but I think I could probably order some from somewhere.. however I watched aa Youtub video where a guy said that crickets with baby scorpions was a bad idea, as they have been known to nibble on other invertebrates, and can cause harm to the babies. Please help, any and all information would be appreciated.. I have several other Arizona bark scorpions, but I've only had them for a short time and these are my first species... I was not planning on having a brood anytime soon..... I keep my males and females apart... Please help and thank you!!!! Thank you again for your time and help in advance.
