Help me to identify this spider please.

Hello, my bf has had this spider in the corner of his window for about a month now, Im trying to identify it. I can only see the resemblance to a zygiella x notata or false widow? Please help. I recently bought Super worm for it to feed, I'm thinking of keeping it.

I believe it's a young Steatoda (false widow), perhaps Steatoda nobilis. (Zygiella x-notata normally builds an orb web with a missing sector.)

Cobweb spiders are very easy to keep if you're interested in a pet true spider.

Oh yes forgot about the nice pretty Web orb spiders do...no this one is a bit messy

How can I make a simple habitat for it. My bf doesn't want it in his room anymore, it's freaking him out.

All you really need is a container with anchor points for it to build webbing.

You can give it water by dibbling water onto the web.
