Help IDing this beauty.

I am looking for a species/genus or common name if possible. I already know it's an orb weaver/garden spider. Photo taken in Indianapolis, Indiana

It appears to be an Argiope of some sort, either Argiope trifasciata (Banded Argiope or Banded Garden Spider) or Argiope aurantia (Black-and-Yellow Argiope or Writing Spider). A dorsal picture would help to narrow it down.
