I checked my assign forest scorpions tank and he was gone, he is probably gone for hours. and the lid was open. Don’t know what happened. He is going to die if I don’t find him, what should I do

Well you can’t exactly lure it out with food like you could with say a hamster. I’d recommend just looking under objects and furniture that might make a nice hide for it. That’s your best bet.

Don't scorpions glow under black light? Try darkening the room and use a black light to see what glows. I believe that is how wild scorpions are captured.

I heard of this tip where you put wet paper towels in the corner of each room. Someone did this and found their escaped centipede.

I was gonna say the black light too but if there are places you can't see into you can put some flour out very even and if it comes out and disturbs it you can see where it's been

It won't travel far, so it's doubtful the scorpion could've found its way into another room. It's probably still in the room, just hiding somewhere, probably under something. A black light should help you locate it. They can squeeze themselves into very small crevices, so carefully check in places like that.

Corners of the room closest to the escape point, and baseboards between. You can use a heat mat to lure them also, place it in a corner over night. Uv flashlight is your friend, look where it is dark and cramped.

You should use a UV flashlight and look in dark tight places, I hope you find it. 😃

Did you arrange a UV torch already ? Do you understand that searching for a scorpion WITH a UV light increases your chance of success by at least 300% ?
If you don't own a UV light/lamp/torch, then get one. Its standard equipment for scorpion keeping.

I've just lost my Hadrurus arizonensis 2 days ago. My tip is to search room by room, and literally search behind EVERYTHING. If there is a cramped storage room, don't be lazy and not search there. Search behind EVERYTHING, no matter how long it takes. Do not give up, it will be close to where you have your enclosure and in a corner, dark place, or behind something.

Can I ask how you lost your H arizonensis ? Meaning, how do they get out of their enclosure ?

I put it in another container while setting up her new enclosure, and the lid was really light. I think she just pushed up and escaped.
