I have a little bit of experience with tarantulas, as I have had a female curly hair for 6 years. However, I am looking something to go in my 24-26 gallon bioactive terrarium- preferably arboreal. I am thinking of an Avic, but I don't know much about them. I'm practically a beginner. Please share your wisdom on these tarantulas, or any other species suggestions.
Some things I'd like to know are how big are they, do they make nests, are they active, and are they friendly?

Temperature: 72-76 degrees Fahrenheit.
Humidity: 50% when not misted, I keep it at 70-90 misting.

So i deduct your planted terrarium is already active?

Any photos of this enclosure?

How long has it been active?

What background knowledge do you have on avics, and which channels do you watch that discusses Tarantula husbandry.

There is no Avic Going to survive the misting so there all out the window, 90% humidity is high, there isn't going to be much that will like that.
Some Psalmopoeus and Pseudoclamoris can survive they numbers but I'd be more inclined to say get frogs rather than a T for it.
There is a load of things that can go wrong in bio active setups and Avics are hard enough for beginners to care for with the proper setup never mind adding one to that setup.

The humidity only at 90 when i mist it a whole bunch, which is not required. It sits at like 50 as I stated before. And yes, it is a bioactive setup. I agree that things could go wrong.

Yes, the tank is a bioactive tank with live plants, isopods, springtails, and soil mites. There are numerous slugs and small millipedes. It's one of the reasons I'm skeptical about putting on in here. This is an older image, but I am unable to get a pic of the current setup. In the current setup, the wood in the center is more upright and there are slightly more plants on the left and right.
