Heavy Tarantulas

I don't recall the source, but I've read L. klugi is considered the heaviest tarantula.

Yeah, those spiders were heavy, but mostly in the abdomen…some species look burly all around, even with thick legs and broad carapaces!!

B. schroederi subadult female, ~3.0" DLS, last molt July 2013, on a once a month feeding schedule.
