I purchased a human heating pad for my Blatta Lateralis colony but it turns itself off every hour or so. Does anyone have any experience with using these? Do you know how I can get it to stay on? Thanks in advance.
its an auto shut off so you can get around it, i would take it back and find one that dont have the auto shut off built into it, some stores like wal-mart dont carry them. :?
It's $20 with free shipping. It's the king size one. I raise my Blatta Lateralis in a 99 liter tub and I think most of us do so it's big enough to cover nearly the whole bottom.
Most of the nation drug store chains have their own store brand that do not have auto shut offs.
If you go with one of these look for the controller that has a manual sliding button for low/med/high. The ones with the push buttons will not come back on if you have a power outage.
