However i've been bit by a centipede, S. cingulata. A little painful.
I've also been bit by a true spider, Dolomedes tenebrosus. When I was 16. I still have a scar from it on my thumb (about 8mms) lol
The rate of a bacterial infection due to a spider bite is low (0.9%). - wikipedia but thats not foolproofUm.. less than one percent of spider bites get a secondary infection ?
No way I've personally seen more than three in two years just around where I am. So ..No way.
