Hi Karen,

pls remember that they are strictly protectet by the goverment and its forbidden to export tarantuals from RSA.
(BTW: As far as i know its even forbidden to keep tarantulas in RSA.)

I wasn't planning on bringing any home, but I spend time out in rural areas, so it would be great to find some and just see them do their thing (or more likely run from me!).

here you see a typical eggsac of Harpactira cf guttata. They are always attached to both sides of the burrow hanging free.

Surprisingly one of the sacs was ready only 6 weeks after it was built.

right now I don`t know any reason why I should to present any to any market. But I might have some left out of the 4 sacs for some responsible breeders.

Aww, don't be judgemental now. Some of us has to make a buck to be able to sustain the hobby, and to update and evolve the plastic container park with more attractive glass pieces.

yes it should/could be the same ... dunno if the male is still alive, i dont keep him anymore.
(I wonder, cause i didnt got any response in the T-Store on the same topic from you. ... )

The male is now for scientific work in England - contact Gallon for Info if he is still alive.
