Looking for some up to date information on keeping this species since I have a young female on the way.

Are these considered moisture dependent? Ive seen conflicting advice on this, some say yes some say no just overflow water dish or keep a portion of the substrate moist, other than that I've given a hide with room to burrow and some anchor points for webbing.

Any other info I should know?

That's about it. Lower levels of substrate should be a little moist in at least half the enclosure, but mine seems not to care too much one way or the other. I would focus more on webbing anchors than a hide, though - my female lives in a forest of webbing, even though she could go into a hide under the surface...

My female hasn't even burrowed at all. She webbed the surface a bit and sits on her silk. However, this is one of the two spiders in my collection that is likely to venture out of the enclosure when I open the lid, rather than scrunch up or hide. I believe Tom Moran also noticed that with his specimen.

No
I’ve raised several, never needed to overflow.

They seem pretty hardy. I kept the soil a little moist when it was a tiny sling (1/4"DLS when I got her), but she seems like she's not very particular now that she's bigger. I've let her enclosure dry out almost completely and she does great. I do spray drinking water on her webbing occasionally to supplement the water dish, but I don't see her drinking very often. She is an avid hunter and a heavy webber.

They are an awesome Sp. I raised my sling from .25 and now approaching 1" They finally reached the phase where they are out in the open more. I've been eyeing the H sp. Guerilla because their colors look amazing.

I just got one of these too, but mine is tiny, and I mean tiny lol about 1/8 of an inch. Seems to be doing good though, has already eaten and I've added some moisture, but I didn't soak it.
