Handfeeding

IMHO I think the people who are asking the cuddling and hand feeding questions need to buy different pets. I really hate to see what they would do with fish.

But I do tweezer feed some of my arboreals. They are in large terrariums and this way I know they are getting the crickets.

I kinda agree with ya there but I think the cuddling question the person was being allittle sarcastic when they said cuddle. When i worked at a pet store, a little girl came in to buy a betta, her mom said it was her third one in the past month. I asked why and her mom told me the first betta her daughter got out and have it a hug and of course it died, and the second one she tucked into bed with her and well yeah it too died, so she was gonna try it again....just thought i'd throw that story in there for alittle bit of humor...

Haha geesh for some reason i find that very funny. I was watching americas funniest animals or something like that and they had a mouse inside a tank with a ribbon snake, and they said that those two were friends because the snake didn't eat the mouse...i just starting laughing so hard cause well ribbon snakes eat fish not mice....some people crack me up. ;P

Every once and a while I handfeed my mantis but it isn't using 1/2" fangs to try to catch its crickets. And hell I jump when my mantis grabs the cricket I can't imagine what my reaction to a hungry ball of legs and fangs would be.
