just picked up a juvie about 2 months ago for a friend beautiful specimen. The store i frequent had 2 for sale actually and i went back for the other and he was sold, a week later they got in 2 hadogenes Paunces (poor spelling sorry) and i picked one of them up.
both of the decent exotic pet stores that I go to currently have them in stock, and they always seem to have them. You might have to go on the Internet for it.
Yeah for some reason they are rarely imported into the states??? Heard from a few people that have been into inverts longer then me that they used to be more commonly available whatever amount of years ago...
If you're going to find them it more than likely to be on wholesale lists for WC specimens or through pet stores that order from those sources. They do seem to be scarce in recent years(as mentioned earlier, H. paucidens seems to dominate the flat rock scene) probably partly because their slow growth rates make them one of the less popular species in captive breeding efforts. They take so long to mature, cycle and grow from babies that many people find it's too much time and effort. I love the species and I have a couple of very old individuals in my personal collection and I wouldn't trade them for the world
