i am now ready to attempt breeding my pair of cobalts, and i am struggling with which method i should use. several sources claim it is best (for general tarantula breeding) to introduce the male into the female's cage (i tend to lean this direction); but other sources--especially schultz's the tarantula keepers guide --propose introducing the female into the male's cage. does anyone here have experience breeding haplopelma?

Hi kairo,

in the nature, the H. lividum males are walking around to find a female and not vice verca => put the male in the cage of the female. ...Haplopelma spp. mating is really easy and very calm. (in the archive of this forum you can find several postings to this topic)

all the best,
Martin
