so i was looking into my h. judaicus colony yesterday... and i noticed one of them attack a lateralis ootheca and start munching on it. i was totally baffled that i) it would attack something not moving, and 2) that it would try to eat something that pretty obviously wasn't an insect.
any ideas??? (and NO! they're not hungry, i always have at least a dozen lateralis running around in there to avoid cannibalism...)

cheers! :D

All scorps that I know of show scavenger behavior, also speaking about scorps and ooths, I fed one of my scorps a Nauphoeta and whilst she was consuming it the roach squeezed out an ooth whichhatched right there and then!
