My god, these guys are FAST! They make my S. calceatum a tortoise in comparison. I can't find any info on their venom. Anyone been bit?

Bite not medically significant with the exception some Heteropoda and or their prey live in filthy environments. Proper hygiene, povidone iodine or >70% isopropyl alcohol vigorously scrubbed at the bite sight strongly recommended.
A favored environment for them throughout Asia is drains and sewers.

I'd be shocked if one bit you, it's much more likely to teleport up to the ceiling than anything else lol. Shouldn't be medically significant, agreed with what Snark said.

I mean, I don't think we have a confirmed case on the boards. If you "accidentally" get a nip then let us know. Otherwise, don't be diddling the things you shouldn't diddle.

I recently purchased two slings.
While decanting one went into his new home without issue.
The other teleported to my mid forearm then disappeared. As my initial shock subsided I noticed a speck of dust with legs hanging from my arm.
I was able to direct him back into a vial and into his home.
Here’s a pic. That’s my pinkie nail… 083CD414-A6FD-4C0D-A030-70A45B3951EE.jpeg

Agree, keep diddling to a minimum.
Also... avoid daddling as much as possible. as diddling and daddling go "Hand & Hand" (no handling)
