heh indeed mine won't allow you to put your fingers near it its so defensive theres no chance of that happening with mine unless you want a stung hand :/

Mebbes its a little used to being handled but its prolly due to individual temperment of the scorp.

Would be lovely if I could handle mine, mebbes ill give it anther shot sometime.

Gravy,

The way I got it on my hand was to put my hand a bit into the substrate (you can see the sand on my fingers) and then usher it onto them with a pen. Theoretically you could do that with a spastic one too -- though I don't know what you would do once you got it on there. :D

EDIT: I would test the spastic scorpion theory myself -- but the only really spastic ones I have are my L.quinquestriatus and I'm just not that brave (read: stupid).

Cheers,
Dave

Nice plan batman but I still would be a little worried about it, its pretty mental, my emp hates me handling it too the large male puts its pincers into the cracks between my fingers and squeezes it seems to know when its been picked up and really hurts last time it cut my finger open :(

Preggy female stings anything near it that moves and is really aggro suppose its like most mums to be :p a little on the edge :D

Mebbes its just me ill try with my desert hairy again when its bored of playing buried alive :p or mebbes its trying to mummify itself who knows :E

Nice, they still haven't replied to me with their invertebrate list, mainly scorpions and avicularia genus tarantulas. How much did you get him/her for?

Well, that's my H. arizonensis.
Simply took him by tail and put on my palm.
The only thing ... he's dead.
