A tricky one that might need some researching. This is a somewhat commonly available species in Australia, located close to Mount Martin national Park and is synonymous with Phlogius crassipes "Hampden". Species name starts with "K"

Those are all the hints I will give for now

Ok, I went to WSC and literally searched for all Australian species, none of them started with a K.

Also, the only family that has a couple of species starting with a K and, are synonymous with Phlogius, is Selenocosmia. However, both of these species aren't from Australia.

Now you got me thinking here, lol. Is this a described species, indeed?

My first guess will be Selenocosmia crassipes, since it's a synonym of P. crassipes and fonetically, it starts with a K, sorta. 😂

(Btw, I like these tricky ones 🙂)

Nice research! No, this one is not officially in WSC yet but will be included in the much anticipated upcoming Phlogius revision soon. You can find slings available on many sites here such as jjslittlestings. The biggest clue is the locality, or a place located very close to it

I am a little confused why @RezonantVoid even posted a photo. Check out the first page of the thread for rules to the game, you gotta get the correct ID to post a photo of your own. People were still guessing on the prior photo when you posted. @quirinus should go next.

Merely the result of my tired eyes skim reading the first few messages of the thread at 6:00am on the way to work. My apologies

Well, this thread sadly died because no one guessed @quirinus 's pic correctly. But this is a really fun thread and I thought I'd revive it.
Soo...I'll go. The pic is not mine but I have the pic owner's permission.
