well it's probably older than we'd think and not as old as it looks, or the
thread wouldn't really, um..... :D

I'll go with almost 3............

WINNA!!!!!

it is from this eggsac ( http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?p=586384&highlight=rosea#post586384 ), which hatched in september, 2006. i think they are 2y 7-9m. this spider is one of two i have left from a group of 20 originally that i was only feeding every 2-4 months. basically when they get skinny enough i feed them again. i am hopig at least one of the two i have left (traded the rest when igot rid of like 99% of my collection) is a female and will live for 40+ years

you win a cacoseraph's blessings :)

2nd or 3rd instar?
it is... fifth instar i think

Nice Job Miss Bianca :)

The sling looks great, once again showing evidence that these creatures can survive plenty long on minimal diet.

Keep good records :) and maybe you'll end up in the record books

This also speaks to the value of an adult G. rosea.

No, 80 years. It sits in a rocking chair in the corner smelling of urine and cabbage-water, whilst shouting that things aint what they used to be and the country's gone to hell and young'uns have it too easy nowadays! {D {D

seriously! my feeding regimen is probably not that far from what some of the spiders living in areas that are right on the edge of their tolerable range experience many of the years of their lives.
