The way it shoots up the tube at the end scared the bejeebies out of me, it blew past the cricket lol

Picked up this trio last week. Up to 4 now.

I can't get nice pictures of my slings. I'm gunshy I suppose. Not to mention my speed of a mongoose and cat like reflexes have weakened a tad. I've got a couple I'm wanting to get shots like that to document but,I already know that's a distant reality.

Just keep at it, you'll find the shot eventually. I actually miss a lot of shots when mine are out, because as soon as they feel me around they start heading back into their burrows.

Only time I get clear shots are when I hold them prisoner during rehousings, lol

I left the lid open on my container I hold mine in and just placed it on top. It tends to surface quite regularly but gets spooked by me opening the lid so that actually helped me get a nice pic of it 20231012_201510.jpg

Little guy has a little fat ass and is refusing food so hoping it grows as fast as an OBT or my gigas

I can't wait for my girl to grow up and become full on silver. At the same time, I can't deny the contrast between the steel blue silver and golden orange is spectacular. I do believe the colours of O. sp. 'Hon-Sej' however stays quite close to the sling/juvenile 'Vietnam Silver' colours, even as adults. I don't have any for myself though so I can neither confirm nor deny.

Clearly the dwarf Hon Sej, and Vietnam Silver are closely related somehow. We'll wait for the description of both. I have both, and the vibrant gummy blues and predominantly thick orange legs are really apparent with Hon Sej, but it's remarkable how much the two slings/juveniles resemble each other.
