Hey!
So I caught a ground beetle larva today.
Not sure on the species because it is difficult to tell from the larva alone, plus they are fast as hell so hard to get a perfect look at it.
I think it MAY be Carabus nemoralis based on where I found it, but not sure.
What I am wondering is what is the best thing to feed it? I know many ground beetles eat caterpillars, but all my caterpillars are either HUGE, or still tiny.
I do have mealworms and young superworms, but I don't know if it will eat these? Or if they might injure the beetle larva.
I have some earthworms as well. I've got fruit and veg too but I do not know if they eat this.
So anyone who knows more about their diet, all advice is welcome!
