It speaks for itself. That's my 6 + inch female King Baboon, Babs, having a tea party with a lobster roach. How awesome is that?

They just haven't started work yet. They're just chatting at the water cooler. Once they're on the clock, she'll eat the roach.

To be honest, I did not even notice the roach when I first saw the photo and was about to direct you to this thread.

Then I read your description and saw fully the moment as it was meant to be captured. Funny stuff :).

Awesome shot. I'm assuming that by now that roach is nothing but a crunchy little bolus.

Hey you might want to add some substrate to that tank, your KB would probably appreciate it.

Dang and I thought I was going to get by without an enclosure suggestion! Almost. It's ok. It's her in between house. The biggest deli cup I could find. I am working on giving her a nice big 10 gallon with all kinds of substrate and branches up inside... very similar to this:

And oh she has some real thick back legs. They are impressive. They're like tarantula thinder thighs, haha.

Awesome, she'll love that. Sorry to derail the photo thread. These are my fave sort of pics, by the way. So little actually happens in a tarantulas day, it's nice to see someone actually capture a moment like that for a change.

It was very much a chance opportunity too. I tried to get an over the top pic, but by the time I got the lid open she was like... ok that's enough kodak moments for me, back to the cave.

that is a very cool shot, don't think that would be easy to recreate again :)
