Found this guy sneaking up on me while i was sitting on my basement floor doing something, i put it in a container to look at it and it looked very skinny so i gave it a cricket and it instantly lunged and ate it. Its been making nice webs, eating, and acting good for the past couple weeks. Im like 99% sure its a grass spider. Is that correct? Correct me if im wrong please, thankyou!

The pattern on the carapace doesn't match that genus. IMHO some other Agelenidae. Perhaps a Coras species?
Heres some photos that show its pattern a bit more. It has a very angry looking face 🤣

Could it be a Tegenaria or Eratigena?
Eratigena definitely not - banded legs. The only Tegenaria in OP's location would be T. domestica and that species has a different abdominal pattern.

Based on the the photos google shows me when i search T. Domestica it looks pretty similar but i still dont know the species of this lil dude. He/she is still doing well. Im feeding every 5-7 days, it isnt a super hungry dude.

It is!!! It is identical to the google images of the "coras funnel weaver"
Thankyou!
