Hi, I am using the only small piece of cork bark I have right now in my slings enclosure. It's perfect for the small enclosure he has now. BUT when he gets bigger (I have another enclosure for that) I have grape wood in there. It was the only thing I could find at petsmart that would be okay for him to climb on. Is grape wood okay? My sling is a versicolor so needs humidity. I don't know when his next molt is but I'm just preparing in case.

Thanks! This is what I needed to know!!

Any types of wood that don't mold in humidity?

Most wood products will mold in high humidity settings. Some are a bit more resistant than others. Cork is very resilient.

I'd much rather use cork bark but the problem is...finding it...lol. I won't use the wood since it has the chance of molding.

These are just 3 online ordering sites I found from googling "cork bark". If you can't find it in an LPS, you can definitely order some. It's definitely worth it too. It is much less likely to mold and arboreals love the tube style.

You could try hitting up a local gardening supply store as well, since it seems to be popular for mounting orchids.
