Wow, that's almost exactly the situation i'm in :)
How long since the egg sac was dropped?
Right now, i've got the entire sac in a similar set up due to there being no eggs w/legs yet. Would it be recommended to remove the eggs from the sac and have them loose in the hammock?

She dropped it on Oct 21st I took the eggsac away on Nov 23rd. and I opened mine up right away and poured in. Then I took out the dead eggs (which are really dark) They didmt have leggs til last night. I also kept the contaner in her tank that way dont have to worry about the humiidaty and heat. So far my female hasnt tried getting into the contaner but she does sit on top often. Just sits on it. I will keep everyone updated.

Good luck with the rest of your task. It'd nice to see some CB rosies.

Oh my, this is really spooky. Just now I had a peak in the container, and behold! Eggs w/legs! There's still eggs also, should I tip them out of the sac now?
Sooooo excited! Grinning from ear to ear atm :)
Also, yours was dropped on the same day as mine! {D

lol. pour them on out. it hasnt hurt mine so far. I poured mine out as soon as I took them away from the mother. Now it gets to the fun part- watching them grow up. :}

I poured them into the hammock, and this morning i've got loads my w/legs :)
Any ideas on how long it takes them to turn into spiderlings?
