Good source for termites?

Hey guys,
i am really interested in harvesting termites and i was calling a few places today in Florida, but they don't have any due to all the canes they had this past summer, can anyone recomend a source?

Perhaps you could phone an exterminator and ask them if you can go in and collect a few before they spray or poison anything. They might be able to recommend where to look.

They use termites for a lot of biology experiments, so you could probably buy a colony from a biological supply house providing that your local laws permit it.

Collecting your own may be your best option, although that may be tricky this time of year. I collect them by hiding chuncks of corrugated cardboard under old logs, board etc. They love the stuff.
