Good Comprehensive Pede Care Site?

Hi all,
Don't have any pedes yet but plan on picking up my first in the near future. Just wondering if anyone knows any good sites with descriptions and specific care sheets for the different species. New to the pede situation so not sure if there are "standard guidelines" for all pedes of if each species requires specific conditions. Also any suggestions on a good species to start with would be great. Don't mind having something fast and dangerous, been dealing with animals like that for a while. Something colorful and active would be good.

This particluar forum is pretty comprehensive... try doing a search on care and specific species, and maybe ask if you have more specific questions after that. We have been around many times with the best "this or that" pede question, so there will be some good info if you look for it.
