Whelp, I had a hunch this was coming up. As I had written a couple of months ago, my G. rosea had been acting quite odd, often sitting in a death curl position, then suddenly "reviving" for a trip to the water dish. She did this constantly at least until New Year's Day. I've noticed that she had not budged at all for over a week now.

Finally went ahead and did the paintbrush test. She wasn't in a typical death curl, which had me doubting until this moment. No reaction when touched or prodded, completely limp and unresponsive :/ Sigh, that confirmed it for me. I'll definitely miss her, especially when she was often amongst the 1st of my quartet to catch her crickets. Boy, did she love those ! I've witnessed some great takedowns from her over the years. So I've owned her for 11+ years, being WC, I had no idea how old she could've been. She might've been at the end of a fairly long lifespan. Who knows ?

This sucks ! But at least she's at peace now, probably chowing down on all the crickets she'd want in T Heaven.

Rest well, Maggie. You'll be missed :(

R.I.P, sounds as though she brought lots of joy to you!
Yes, she was so chill and easy to work with. Never had a threat pose from her, barring the initial rehouse from the LPS. And she surprised me time and time again, as she was always eager to get her crickets. Feeding time was always a blast with her.

Also the fact that G. rosea was the very first T I purchased when I started 16 years ago ! That one was an adult that I sold off because I didn't feel ready for it to die on me at any given time. Mine was probably a sub-adult, she was about 3" DLS when I purchased her. She had easily reached 5.5" in the time I've had her. Yes, this hurts.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone ! Yes, we can all agree that losing a pet is not easy, no matter how common they might be. When I bought her, it was a time that WC roseas were starting to be seen less frequently. For the time being, I don't have any intention of replacing her. Perhaps several years into the future, we shall see. One thing for sure, the next G. rosea I buy will be a CB sling :) No more WCs for me, I'd prefer getting an animal that I'd have a better guess of its life expectancy.

My three others, all CB, are all going strong. The only one I'm reasonably sure of its age is the T. albo, since it was a 1/4" sling way back in 2010. So that one is definitely 15 years old by now. The B. boehmei and B. hamorii are both sitting in the 15-20 year range, though I can't tell exactly as they were purchased as 1.5" juvies in 2010 and 2011 respectively. So those two were probably at least 2 years old by then, maybe a year older. Who knows for sure without an actual hatch date ?
