Hey all, was wondering with a bit of help. Looking at privately purchasing a T.blondi female. Just checking if anyone could see anything wrong or just a general look of health? Noticed a weird line bald patch on abdomen but doesn't seem to me look like.hair flicking? Thanks In advance. 5-6" size

first off, dont pay blondi prices for a stirmi. Secondly, the line on the back of the abdomen may be nothing, but it may be something pretty severe as I have seen exo cracks form a few times on ts, and they tend not to heal/seal even after several molts. So be sure what you are looking at.

That's what made me go I don't do many abdomens looking like that, also what price guide are we talking here? The local shop for TS is wanting £150 ($190) for a female stirmi around 5" big. What would I be looking at no.more paying for blondi around 5"-6"

Seems high, but it would be best to listen to responses from others in the UK as they will be more "in the know" about pricing in your area.....I am from the states.

i've yet to own anything theraposa, but I have a Pamphobetus and i've heard from people they can be similar, only major difference is Pamphobetus being smaller and much less threatening urticating hairs.

My Pampho' baby is about ~3.25"(?) inches and a confirmed male and he is surprisingly one of my feistier T's. I have gotten a ridiculous amount of threat poses from just being in his presence and the only one I've ever got more from was my late Psalmopoeus. The hair flicking with him is ridiculous too, rehousing is just a booty-flick-fest with him. If you don't have experience with these larger, more defensive NW terrestrials that potentially harbor bigger consequences with their hairs, it might not be wise to get anything Theraposa.

On the other hand, I just realized this might have just been about more of the health aspect, and in that case that abdomen does not look anything like a traditional U.H baldspot.. worries me a little.

Last one I bought I got sold one with a tumor but was not offered a full refund. So I kept it and it only lived a year or so. So inspect it well . The pictures I got of it purposely hid the cyst . It’s definitely a species I’ll get again but they can be very defensive. Not a beginner species.
