Unfortunately I didn't have a camera when my regalis were slings. But here's a great site for info, pics (of a sling too) and it has molt records. Note that my regalis grew faster than this individual, but this one still grew pretty darn fast!

I paid about $40 (american) for them at a local pet store. My newest ones were $25 each at Swifty's.

I kept my slings in small pickel jars with about 1" of substrate and a thin stick of cork bark for them to climb and attach their webbing to.

Cooper,

I also buy from the person you are buying your tarantulas from. I bought my 2" H.Maculata for $29.99 and I love her (but i didnt buy it from Robert). Mine doesnt web all too much but has a cool little tunnel going in the dirt that she has webbed up. I am actually buying one of the 1" Suntigers that he has, if you havent made your order yet you may be out of luck because he only had 2 Suntigers and when I talked to him I got the last one. I already have a 2 1/2 - 3" suntiger right now and he is absolutely stunning, just have to watch out for their speed, they are lightning quick!! I find that all his prices are very good. He also told me that the reason the suntigers were $40 was because they were more expensive than he normally buys them at and thats why he only got 2. All of the tarantulas I have bought from him were in excellent condition and came right when I wanted them, as I work 12 hr shifts and am not always here to recieve them. If you have the money get the regalis! Anyways you will love the H. Maculata

Hello, I am going to be getting a Togo Starburst, among others in my next order. I was wondering what the general humidity requirements for the starburst is, and if there is a trick to feeding arboreals. Do you have to put the crix, etc., on the branch, or do they just come down and get them? I really need to know the humidity requirements. Oh, it will be about 4 inches when I get it. Also, is $50 Canadian a good price? How about $40 for a 1 inch suntiger? Thanks, please reply ;P
Nope. Nuh uh. You will never see me purchase an Aggressive Arboreal.

Actually the only arboreal I have that has EVER shown any aggression towards me was my 4" H. maculata. My Pokies are like cute little puppy-dogs :D But, they're pretty aggressive towards the crickets I guess ;)

I am much more afraid of my 7" L. parahybana

you can try doing a search type in regalis slings or something and you should have some threads that pop up with some sling pics in it

When you buy the sling from Robert he will ship it in a vial which is what you should keep it in until it gets to a min of 1" then you can move it to the smallest kritter keeper also labeled as mini plahouse on Roberts list for $3. Thats what I am putting my Versicolor in once it molts one more time to make it atleast 1".

I dont have any sling pics of a regalis though.

I'd still not buy an Aggressive Arboreal. At least with the L. parahybana, I have the security in knowing it's not as adept at wall climbing like the arboreals are.

Ya the slings come in vials, the bigger ones in plastic containers. And both get paper towel in the so they dont bounce around, packaging is very well done. But you have to be careful when taking out the paper towel as they little sling will be packed in it and they may bolt out. I havent had any problems yet though and its better that then have them arrive dead.
