Not using the thread so much - only have a single C. versicolor sling right now - but definitely find it interesting and enjoy looking through the photos. I hope you continue adding to it!
Thanks, I hope it becomes helpful to you in the future. ;)

Any chance youll do this with p. Mets? Ive noticed a lot of variation in their pics
Yea, give me about a year or two for that.... :troll:

I'm still waiting to produce my own P. metallica egg sacs at the moment. I have paired a couple females, but it seems like that they don't want to make a eggsac :banghead:. But yes, I plan to do P. metallica as well, but not for now since I need to produce my own first. And once I do, I will raise them and add them on here once sexable. At the moment, I'll probably do T. albo's next, until the day comes that I can produce my own P. metallica slings and raise them up to be sexable. So it's going to be a waiting list for you, but it'll probably be worth the year or two for the wait.

So hang on until I can hopefully produce a good eggsac of P. metallica.... :snaphappy::sleepy::sleepy:

And that's it for now, but more for the future. I hope people will utilize this if they need help or are just curious...
I made A Typo, the male specimen #6 is correct, but I accidently labeled the ventral as specimen #7 instead of #6.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

But I assure you that male #6 and the ventral that was supposed to be #6 as well (which I made a typo as #7) is the same specimen.

Makes sense. So you're doing variations within the same eggsac then? I think it would be interesting to compare similarly sized ts from different parents.

It’s been a couple years now…. :troll:
This is a great thread. Very helpful. Not sure how many can do 10 of each though.

You're right! I can easily do more. Hold up, more to come in the future!!!!!! :troll:

Seriously though, I will do more in the future. The problem is that the thread title doesn't really help get people to look at it from time-to-time. I wished I titled it: "Genus & Species Specimen Variation - Male and Female"
If possible @Arachnopets can change the title it to that (but still under as my "User" thread to prevent people posting their own not-so-great pictures of their specimens:bag::bag:), then maybe I'll consider posting on here often again. It's just not worth posting a lot of effort photos if no one needs it or uses it. Which the thread title is probably why nobody knows what it's for.

But the real question is when do I post on here again. *Soon*** :smirk:;)

I’d have loved to have seen this before my versi became ventrally obvious. Putting “Variations in Ventral sexing” or “epiandrous fusillae sexing” or something containing words someone searching for such info could find. Seeing this on the feed is one thing, but long after it’s buried, it will need the search terms people readily think of to find it. I’ll be watching for those updates! ;-)

Done. :)

The user tag has been removed, as each user is only allowed one user thread, and you already have one.

The only other option would be for you to make an album in the media gallery. ;)

Thank you. Okay everyone, you win. I'll post something. Just give me a week because I'm looking for a new 9-5 job as of now. :smirk:  ;)

Very cool idea for a thread! Will be very helpful and interesting as it goes along!

Question. Is this for anyone to post pics of confirmed male and females from same egg sacs, or isthis just for your collection?

:)

I wish there would be more comparison references amongst the species with known data (ie. Source).

I'm back and this one is not as great as the others but still gets the point across. Today, it's the Avicularia avicularia M6 (ex. A. metallica).

Avicularia avicularia Morphtype #6 (Ex. Avicularia metallica) Specimen #1 - Female

I'm so sorry, I did not see this question. So better late than never. But this will be a mix of some sac mates and also some within my collection.
