Hi All,
Please check out: Scorpion Care: Introduction and Overview

Among the world’s 2,000+ scorpion species we find an astonishing diversity of fascinating creatures, many of which make hardy pets that adjust well to small enclosures. Several reproduce readily in captivity – lucky scorpion keepers may even be treated to the sight of a female feeding her offspring with crickets! At least 15 species are established in the pet trade, and specialists are working with several others. Informative and great for new comers of the hobby. Even with experienced keepers I think it's good to read things like this, if anything to compare their husbandry methods.

Hi, Thanks for the kind words.

Even after decades of working at the Bronx Zoo, I continue to learn so much of interest from people new to the field. So I try to mix all levels of topics in my own writing, to inspire people to correspond. Especially with inverts and herps, new ideas, new "eyes" are invaluable (and they are usually sharper than my own tired eyes!). Here's a short note on Windscorpions, in case you have an interest http://blogs.thatpetplace.com/thatr...spiders-sun-scorpions-the-fiercest-arachnids/

Enjoy, best, Frank

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to post; much appreciated. Here's one on medicinal uses of venom:

I'll highlight some interesting new research into scorpion exoskeletons soon. Enjoy, Best, Frank
