GBB in death curl after moult

So my GBB moulted four days ago and I found it in a death curl next to the moult in its den. Thought it was dead so moved the webbing to remove it from the enclosure when I saw slight movement in the legs. My thoughts are its possibly dehydrated, but I've heard mixed things about using ICU's, especially for GBB's who don't like humidity, so I've left it where it is, moved a water bowl as close as I can and dropped some water droplets on the webbing nearby as well as covering the sides of the enclosure to make it as dark as possible. Am I doing the right thing here or is an ICU required?

Don't use an ICU, their proven not to work. Just put the T's mounth in its water dish and see if it drinks. dehydration is a big concern after a molt. but you need to act fast to save ur T, if it is dehydrated it will die unless it gets some water.

ICUs usually just make things worse, you can flip it over and place some droplets of water directly onto the mouth area. Or if you can’t do that you can place it’s mouth in the water dish. Normally I’d say it was just normal post-molt behavior but this time it does look like death curl especially if it’s not actively squirming around and grooming itself

I don't believe in ICUs in any circumstances. However, it really could be dehydration. Can you move the spider so its mouthparts are in the water dish? (Edited to add, I see 2 other people suggested the same thing seconds before I did! Hive mind!)

Hi guys thank you so much for all the responses. I tried to move the T on top of the water bowl, but as its right in the corner of the enclosure I can't get my in there to move the T and place it fully on top. What I've done is spill a small amount of water just next to the bowl underneath her mouth and the T seemed to respond to that a little. When I gently touch its legs it twitches and responds more. Waiting to see if anything changes now but if not I'll try again to place it directly on top of the bowl.

IF you can't get the Ts mouth in the water dish why not just move it?

Things are dire. Get it water! Put its face right in a dish. Whatever you have to do. Even with immediate action, the odds aren't good based on that picture.

OK understood, I managed to get the T on top of the bowl and as I did it moved itself and pretty much dived in, is that OK (pic attached)? I assume so as the book lungs aren't in the water the fact its in so deep isn't an issue?

That's actually a great sign. Let it drink to its heart content.

It basically absorbed the entire bowl then walked out of it and is back on its feet!

That's awesome. Fill the bowl back up and keep an eye on it. Glad it's up and around. That first pic looked really bad.

Will do, yeah I was certain it was dead when I found it like that, so amazing how much better its looking already. It's just climbed up and around the edge of the enclosure and back down to the water bowl. Thank you again everyone for the help, its my first time having to provide aid to a T and the rate you all replied is very appreciated.

When Ts molt it can be so exosting for them that they can just die of dehydration super early. Thats why I allway make sure my freashly molted Ts always for plenty of water.

It's like they want to give us heart attacks! Yeah the T is looking much better now thanks, chilling on the side of the enclosure next to the water bowl.

Not yet, I'm hoping to though. The moult looks nice this time (its previous moults were too damaged to try sexing it) so I'll take a look as soon as I can - I'll post some pics when I get round to it!
