If my memory serves me right, the spider in "Home Alone" owned by Buzz, Kevin's brother (Mcauley Kulkin) was a G.Pulchra. I think anyway, havn't seen the film for a while.

Ah well I named my pulchra 'Buzz'

Gotta love anything that's black and creepy and hairy though. Apart from grandmothers facial hair

Well actually she was very alive when I took those pics of her fang-area.

When she got the infection she acted perfectly normal except that she wasn't eating at all and her pedipalps were curled the whole time.

I cleaned her twice daily with a solution of salt and water but it either didnt help at all or it just prolonged her life a couple of weeks...who knows.

I think the G. pulchra is a great T. I've only had mine for a few weeks but she is sweet and eats like a pig. Good luck with yours.

Jim, the pic I posted was the pulchra I got at the sac reptile show from the same vendor you got yours at. she molted a week after the show. I had to rehouse her quickly as her deli dish was infested with phorid flies!
